“ The cabrito was very tender and delicious. Melt in your mouth. Definitely will need to come back here on a return trip. We had 15 people and there was plenty of food. We ordered the goat and a mixture of beef. The tortillas were delicious, hot and plentiful! Many different salsas to choose from, my favorite was super spicy. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is perfect with a spot to watch them roast the goat meat. Beautiful tile work and classy chandeliers. ”
“ Last summer, I had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful city of Monterrey, Mexico. A college buddy of mine grew up in this fine town, and he invited me to get to know his neighborhood: San Pedro Garza Garcia. Here is a bit of trivia... San Pedro Garza Garcia is the most affluent area in all of Mexico. After my buddy picked me up from the airport, he suggested that we stop by to eat at El Rey del Cabrito. I agreed, looking forward to tasting dishes that are staples of Nuevo Leon cuisine. Once we walked in, we were shown to our table. I noticed the great décor, as well as the many photos of celebrities that have visited this great restaurant. It was somewhat busy that evening, but we were tended to in a timely manner. To start off, we had the broiled cheese, which had chorizo as well. We also ordered some carne asade plates, norteño style. To share, we ordered a goat dish, wish is a very popular plate in Nuevo Leon. I ordered a lemonade, which was pretty good. I was overall very impressed by the food here. The customer service was great, and the ambient was a great intro into my 3-day stay in the beautiful city of Monterrey. I will definitely be back soon to visit this fine city, and will be back to dine here. Five stars all the way! ”
“ Life is always good when you cook al pastor. Cooking cabrito over an open pit nice and slow with leña & smoke is where it's at. The must have dish is el costillar "ribs". El costillar has all the mouth watering taste of the perfect meat and buttery fat. Another favorite dish is la paleta "shoulder" . If you want to eat cabrito right! This is the perfect spot. ”
